+Ver avatar of choice tends to be in the form of an especially emaciated looking cheetah, all black but for the characteristic Cheshire star-like eyes and dimly glowing, golden facial bands - which in cheetahs are black. The tufts of fur typical for the back of cheetahs' necks have extended toward sharp spines, all of which run down the length of ver spine, length not uniform, giving ver a profile much like a ragged porcupine. Unlike cheetahs, ver paws are talon-like, though ve happily 'folds' them into narrower paws to run after someone. Also unlike cheetahs, ve has a fondness for 'cackles' much like a hyena.
+When adopting a more human form, ve continues to keep the emaciated look, the talons and the cheetah head. If ve wants to take to the sky, ve will take on an appearance of a lappet-faced vulture.

 Note that not all holes cut into the ground would be considered Delta territory. Basements, wells, subways and tunnels belong to Epsilon. Semi-basement floors (//souterrains//) are split neatly along the line where the ground would be, meaning their bottom part belongs to Epsilon and the top part to Delta. It's only open pit mines and holes dug into the 'natural' ground (or at the level the 'natural' ground would otherwise be, e.g. inhaling the tarmac of the road is territorial expansion on Delta's part) that count as Delta territory, and everything above where the ground would be in a hypothetical universe where it was unmarred by human interference.
