This is an old revision of the document!

Greet (Margreet Wauters) is a Thorn grafted to a 36 year old human by Adrian Roche, played by pinkgothic.

While created by Adrian and considering herself indebted to him for lifting her out of helplessness (for some definition of 'her'), she's only a somewhat reluctant/accidental Nightshade member, who is trying to live solo but occasionally (okay, fairly frequently, really) helps the other Nightshade Thorns, and staunchly defends assaulted humans she happens to witness. She would cite herself as independent but just can't quite keep her paws off stupid heroism.

As far as Thorns go, she's probably one of the most human Thorns and outright reluctant to call herself anything else, except to delineate herself toward the gross of humanity that are subject to the curiosity toxin. When she uses the term 'we' without elaboration or obvious context, she means Nightshade, though she'll only elaborate on her allegiance if prompted.

The primary reason she hates the Cheshires is because she feels the 'curiosity toxin' has robbed humanity of all dignity. The apocalyptic problems that come with the Cheshires are usually more of an unfortunate side-note for her - if they at least had left humanity their curiosity, she is convinced that her reaction would be far less emotional. She considers it a deeply unfair trick of theirs and would, if given a chance, strip all Cheshires of their curiosity just so they can witness the effect themselves.

Scientifically, Margreet's worried, fretting focus is on the diminishing mass of Earth. Before her hybridisation, she was 'only' a cashier in a supermarket, but the merger has given her a deep interest and intuition for physics, making that the hammer she's looking for nails for.
